Support the work

Nobody should walk this year alone because of $29.99.

A funeral costs thousands. Grief pulls people out of work for months. The price of this program is small, and for some people it is still the thing standing in the way.

What we actually do

We send one short word of encouragement every day for a full year to someone walking through grief — by email, by text, or both. It is written in twelve movements that follow how grief actually moves across a year, from the fog of the first weeks to the dread before the first anniversary.

It is deliberately unglamorous work. There is no app to open, no streak to keep, no community to perform in. Just something that keeps arriving in the eighth month, when the calls have stopped and everyone assumes they are fine now.

Most of the people we hear from say the same thing: you were the only one still checking on me.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2, King James Version

Where your giving goes

Sponsored years

When someone tells us they cannot afford it, we give it to them and never ask for proof. Your giving is what backs that promise.

The sending itself

Every text and email has a real per-message cost. A single sponsored year is roughly 730 individual messages that someone has to pay for.

Writing the next year

Content for specific losses — a child, a spouse, a suicide, a long illness — so the words fit the grief instead of gesturing at it.

Choose an amount

That covers about 10.0 full years of daily encouragement each year — that many people who could not have paid for it.

Change or stop any month — just reply to any email from us and it is handled the same day. Payments run through Stripe. The Judah Project is not a registered charity, so giving is not tax-deductible.
